TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing any content, uploading videos, or using any features of the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and any additional Community Guidelines applicable to specific features.

You must explicitly agree to these Terms before creating an account or uploading content.

If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Age Requirement

You must be at least thirteen (13) years old to use the App.

2.2 Users Under 18 (Parental/Guardian Approval)

Users aged 13 to 17 may use the App but must receive approval from our administrators before they can upload or submit videos. This serves as a parental or guardian safeguard.

We may request additional verification to confirm eligibility.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.

3.2 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate accounts that:

• Violate these Terms

• Upload prohibited or objectionable content

• Engage in abusive behavior

• Pose security or legal risks

We may terminate accounts without prior notice in serious or repeated violation cases.

4. User-Generated Content (UGC)

The App allows users to upload and share video content including:

• Gospel-related content

• Testimonies

• Inspirational or faith-based videos

4.1 Zero Tolerance Policy

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior.

Content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, harassing, abusive, defamatory, hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, violent, exploitative, or otherwise inappropriate will be removed.

Users who violate this policy may have their content removed and their accounts suspended or permanently banned.

4.2 Content Moderation

All uploaded videos are subject to:

• Review and moderation by our administrative team

• Approval or rejection before public publication

• Ongoing monitoring for policy compliance

We reserve the sole discretion to approve, reject, remove, restrict, disable access to, or modify any content at any time for safety, legal, operational, or policy reasons.

We may remove content even after it has been approved if later determined to violate these Terms.

4.3 Reporting Prohibited Content

Users may report content or other users they believe violate these Terms by:

• Using the in-app “Report” feature

• Contacting us at: support@turnvertical.org

Reports are reviewed by our moderation team. We will take appropriate action, which may include content removal, user warnings, suspension, or permanent bans.

4.4 Blocking Other Users

The App allows users to block other users.

When a user is blocked:

• The blocked user’s content will no longer appear in the blocking user’s feed.

• The blocked user cannot interact with the blocking user through available features.

• The block action may be reviewed by administrators if abuse is reported.

We reserve the right to investigate patterns of abusive behavior and take appropriate enforcement action.

4.5 Prohibited Content

You agree not to upload content that:

• Contains harassment, hate speech, discrimination, threats, or violence

• Contains sexually explicit, exploitative, or graphic material

• Promotes illegal activity

• Infringes copyrights or intellectual property rights

• Violates privacy or impersonates others

• Includes scams, misleading information, or commercial advertisements

• Is generated, synthesized, or substantially produced by artificial intelligence tools, software, or models (including but not limited to AI video generators, deepfakes, synthetic media platforms, or generative AI systems) — whether or not the output appears realistic or is presented as human-made

Violation may result in immediate removal and account termination.

4.6 Content Ownership and License

You retain ownership of your submitted videos.

By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to:

• Host

• Display

• Stream

• Store

• Distribute

• Share

your content through the App and system-generated URLs.

This license remains in effect while your content is hosted on the platform and terminates automatically upon:

• Your voluntary removal of the content from the platform, or
• Our removal of the content in accordance with these Terms, or
• Your written revocation of the license, submitted to support@turnvertical.org, provided no outstanding legal, contractual, or operational obligations require continued use.

Revocation of the license does not affect any distribution or use that occurred prior to revocation. Cached or archived copies of previously shared links may persist for a reasonable technical transition period.

4.7 Content Authenticity Declaration

Before submitting any video to the App, you are required to confirm the following declaration by checking the acknowledgement box on the upload screen:

“I confirm that I own the rights to this video, or have obtained all necessary permissions to upload and share it. I also confirm that this video has not been generated,

synthesized, or substantially produced by any artificial intelligence tool, software, or model. Submitting a video that violates these declarations may result in removal of the content and suspension or permanent termination of my account.”

This declaration must be affirmatively checked. You may not submit a video without completing this step. The declaration is logged with each submission and may be used as evidence in any enforcement action.

5. Sharing Features

The App allows sharing via system-generated URLs.

Recipients may view shared content via mobile browser without needing an account.

You are responsible for ensuring your shared content complies with laws and does not violate rights of others.

We are not responsible for misuse of shared links once distributed.

6. Permitted Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes.

You must not:

• Interfere with App security or functionality

• Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or exploit vulnerabilities

• Create automated accounts

• Scrape data

• Upload malware or harmful files

7. Content Display and Availability

We do not guarantee:

• Continuous availability of any specific video

• Approval of all submitted content

• Permanent availability of shared links

Content may be removed at any time.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

All non-user content (branding, design, interface, software, graphics) is owned by us and protected by law.

You may not copy, modify, reproduce, or distribute any part of the App without written permission.

9. Privacy and Data Use

By using the App, you consent to our data practices as described in our Privacy Policy.

This may include:

• Account information

• Uploaded video metadata

• Usage analytics

We do not sell personal information to third parties.

10. Third-Party Services

The App may integrate third-party services such as hosting providers, authentication services, or streaming systems.

We are not responsible for third-party service failures or policies.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• Data loss

• Unauthorized access

• Loss of profits

• Harm caused by shared links

• User misconduct

• Third-party failures

Use of the App is at your own risk.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Turn Vertical from any claims or liabilities arising from:

• Your uploaded content

• Your use of the App

• Violations of these Terms

• Misuse of shared URLs

14. Modifications to the Terms

We may update these Terms at any time.

Continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.

Major updates may be communicated through in-app notification.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
