A Tribe is a church or ministry that partners with Turn Vertical and uses our free app to deliver targeted testimonies and the Gospel to the people who need to hear it most — while keeping your own identity, and staying connected to everyone you reach.
If you lead a church or ministry and want your members sharing the Gospel through Turn Vertical, your first step is simple: sign up as a Tribe leader. (Or hand it to someone on your team — they can run the day-to-day so you don’t have to.)
When your church or ministry joins as a Tribe:
We make it easier for your people to share the Gospel. And easier for the people they reach to find their way back to you. One congregation. Many messengers. Same mission.
Share testimonies that speak directly to the person in front of you. Testimonies from people in your Tribe, or Testimonies from our growing library of stories of people from all backgrounds, all walks of life. Whichever one the Holy Spirit shows you is going to speak to that person most clearly.
Picture this: Bev is part of your congregation, and her testimony about how she got saved after having an abortion is the kind that stops people mid-scroll. You filmed it, uploaded it — done. As pastor, you also put together a couple of Gospel explainer videos, and one that walks someone through the salvation prayer.
Sally is a member of a different Tribe, hundreds of miles away. She bumps into her neighbor, Jennifer, and notices something’s wrong. Talking over coffee, Jennifer opens up about how she had an abortion a year ago and has been wracked with guilt ever since. Sally senses the Holy Spirit nudging her and remembers she’s got Turn Vertical on her phone. In under a minute, she combines Bev’s testimony, a Gospel explainer, and the salvation prayer into a single video and sends it to Jennifer.
“Hey Jennifer. Been thinking about our conversation today. Thought you’d find this helpful — a gal called Bev from my church talking about her life after abortion. Just a couple minutes long and really positive. Let me know what you think. Sally.”
Jennifer trusts Sally, so when the text arrives, she watches. She’s not sold on Jesus — not yet. But she’s feeling some hope. She spots your church logo, recognizes the address. A few miles from her house. She clicks through to the website.
“Thanks, Sally. I can’t explain it, but that really touched me. I’d like to explore this some more. Are you going to be at church on Sunday? Looks like you guys have a service at 10. Can I meet you there?”
By sharing that video Sally has taken her connection with Jennifer to a whole new level. A deeper heart level beyond the small talk where they’re connecting about the big things that really matter. Jesus. Salvation. Healing.

Your salvation prayer video becomes the default every Tribe member sees when they share with non-Christian friends.
Beyond asking members to record testimonies on their phones, you could set up a recording booth at church on Sunday. Or repurpose videos you’ve already made.
Encourage your members to download the app and join your Tribe. Once they’re in, they can:
As Tribe Admin, you review every video your members upload before it goes live.
When a video is shared, your Tribe’s …
… all appear below the video and on the final screen. So if someone turns to Jesus, or just has questions, they have everything they need to reach out — right there.
Trusted Tribes have a proven track record with Turn Vertical.
Regular Tribes don’t have that track record yet — but can earn ‘Trusted’ status once they do. The payoff: once you’re Trusted, your videos only need your approval before going live.
